November 2nd

Day 2: Today I want to say that I'm thankful for Cameron. He does so much for our family. He works so hard to provide for us! I wouldn't have to work/babysit if I didn't want to because he works so much. It's nice to have a little bit of extra money though. There are so many things that I love about him.. I've started making a list for a gift for our 1 year anniversary. I cant believe we have already been married for 8 months, almost 9! Times flies when you are having fun! :) which is also true. My patriarchal blessing says that my home will be a place of safety and refuge from the storms of life and there will not be contentions. We have such a happy marriage. There is barely ever a time when we are arguing, we compliment each other so much. He truly is my other half. People say that the first year of marriage is the hardest. To that I say, I cant wait for the years to come if it only gets better! :) I love you so much Cameron J and can't wait to spend eternity with you!

hAlLoWeEn!!

Halloween was pretty fun this year. Cam was thing 1, Ryker was thing 2 and I was the cat in the hat. (We didn't know what we were going to be until Halloween day. Talk about last minute! Good thing Tasha's family was this a few years ago and she let me borrow the blue for Ryker's hat and I made the shirts while Cam was at work. I didn't have a hat so I made myself a little red and white hair thing real quick and painted my face. For last minute we all turned out looking pretty good I do say so myself. Ryker was by FAR theee cutest!

Madi got to be with her mom this year. She dressed up as a witch! :) She made a cute little witch! We didn't get to see her dressed up but here is a pic of her! :) 

Since she was with Nikki, we got her the night before and we carved pumpkins!

On Halloween night, we went trick or treating with the Buoys! It was lots of fun! We tried to find this house that Cameron said the guy was making corn dogs.. We found the street and it was like a block party! The kids loved it. There was this guy with a golf cart pulling barrels and taking kids for rides. It was cute. The corn dog guy was making popcorn and donuts. We don't know if he made corn dogs or not. He could have been out by the time we got there.  There were tons of people there.

Project time!

This past weekend I was going to go back up to Fillmore and go hunt since I didn't get a deer opening weekend. But Cam and I decided against it to save the money that we would spend on gas. We did a project for our bedroom instead.
Cam has been working on his boss' cabin up duck creek for like the past month or so and he brought home some cabinets that were going to get thrown out. He thought we could repurpose them for our bedroom and he could use the drawers for his undies and such. That way I could use the whole dresser! ;) It was lots of fun! I love that I married a handy man! Exactly what I always wanted! :) I love him soo much!

Deer Hunt

This past weekend was the opening of the deer hunt! I love the deer hunt so much. Only with my family though. We focus more on the family time, story telling, camping and having fun time then we do the actual hunting part. It's fun. 

Before we went up to Fillmore for the hunt this year we went and stayed up at a cabin in duck creek on cedar mountain where Cameron has been working for the past little while.

It was a fun trip. Exhausting. But very fun. I shot at a 2 point and missed. Ha. To tell you the honest truth I don't even know if I was shooting at a buck. I couldn't tell which one had horns through the scope on my gun. I guessed which one it was from my Dad and Colton explaining to me where he was at. I was nervous I was shooting at a doe. I think that's why I choked. Oops! Cam says that he is making me go back up this weekend. (He really just wants some jerky) It is supposed to get cold this week so hopefully that will help bring some deer down off the mountain. We barley saw anything when we actually were hunting. ha

Just Because..

So Cam left again today.. :( I love that he has a job that he loves. But I hate the fact that sometimes he leaves for a whole week at a time.

 I hate not seeing him everyday.

 Not only do I get bored but I miss him soooo much. He is my BESTEST Friend Ever. I get so lonely without him here.  I feel real bad for him this time too because he doesn't get to see our little Ryker man for 4 days. 

Poor daddy. 

 I text him so many times before he ever texts me back because he is busy, ha. 

When we talk on the phone, its for at least a half an hour or so before we fall asleep at night.

 I just love this guy so dang much.

Don't know what I would do without him.

On a Happy note.. When we had Madi this weekend we made letter pancakes.
It was fun and she loved it!

Ready and Waiting

So here I am, 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant sitting in the recliner watching some tv.  Cam is at work and I'm bored and sooooooo so ready for this little guy to come.  Tomorrow is the 24th of July and I wish I lived closer to home so that my doctor could be right there and I could attend the AMAZING festivities of Fairview, Ut!  But let's be honest here, I am like 4 hours from home and Washington county doesn't really go  all out like Fairview does so I have not a clue what I will be doing tomorrow, on my Christmas Day in July.  It's all good. I can deal with it. I don't have all the energy in the world anyway and I would probably fall asleep half way through the derby.  I know I definitely couldn't sit there the whole time. I would go crazy and my back would hate me even more than it already does.  So I have accepted the fact that I will miss out this year. Next year I will be celebrating the heck out of it though!  We will also have a little guys birthday right around the same time and that will be something to look forward to as well! :) Hopefully he makes his debut some time soon.!  We are ready for him, my mom says I gotta wait till the 26th so that she can be done with all of her things this month and then she can just come down and stay for a bit. Which is my due date, and only like 3 days away, so I'm okay with that, but we are ready for him anytime. just sayin :)

I'm back!

Okay so I finally got internet! YAY!! I'm very very excited about this. Hopefully you will get to see me more often! ;) with actual pictures. I just have a few today.. Updating on how this pregnancy is going.. which is great so far. I have 5 weeks left as of today! :) I cannot wait to meet the little guy in there! Things have seen to go by so fast.. To go from this

to this.. 

34 weeks

in a matter of 23 weeks. 

 He is growing strong and kicking me more and more and more! By the way, his name is going to be Ryker! I love it! We thought that it was a not very common name but lately I have heard it soooo much. I've had that name picked out since high school and I'm so glad that Cam liked it too! I think it's only going to get more and more popular though which I'm not very excited about. We liked that it was different. I'm finally starting the whole "swollen" thing. My feet and hands are soo swollen. And my fall asleep at night all the time and then they hurt so bad in the morning.. I can't wear my rings and I hate it! haha 

As for what else is going on in my life, I've finally gotten a break from a work which is really nice! But Cam has been in phoenix for the past 5 weeks straight. I'm getting so sick of that place and I hate that the only relationship we have throughout the week is over the phone. I miss him so much.! 

On a side note Colton has moved in with us for the rest of the summer so I have someone to keep me company! But he thinks I'm a boring old married woman cause I'm tired all the time and don't ever want to do anything but lay around mostly!

Okay I know that I haven't blogged in a long time. But I have been SUPER busy with work and everything. Not having internet sucks too. So when I get done with work I just want to go home. Therefore, I don't get on here at all. And blogging from my phone is no fun at all.

Here are the updates of our lives..

-Cam got a new job! Which we are both very excited about. He will be programming and installing home automations for Sound Solutions. It's something that he has always wanted to do and he is very smart when it comes to these kinds of things! He is learning a lot. He comes home every night and explains someting new to me that he learned and a lot of the time it just goes straight over my head! One sad part... He will be traveling now. He just left for Phoenix this week. I don't know the last time we went 5 days without seeing each other. That is going to be the saddest part for me. :(

-I get to go home this week!! I've been saying for the past couple months how bad I want to go home. I miss Fairview soo much! I love living in St. G but Fairview will always be home to me. I miss the fresh mountain air and everything about it! My little brother is graduating from High School! Yay! I'm so proud of him!

-and last but definitely not least...
 Our baby is growing sooo big! I'm 30 weeks and a few days along now! He is healthy and moving around like crazy! I can finally say that it is so hard for me to bend over and pick up things and I can't paint my toe nails anymore.. I hate shaving my legs and I have the hardest time sleeping. I've never in my life had to get up in the middle of the night to go pee. Now it happens every single night. We bought me a body pillow and it has helped a lot but it is still hard for me to sleep sometimes! So, I take naps whenever I can! Cam wants the baby here soo bad. He says all the time I wish he could just get here! haha It's the cutest thing! He is very excited to have a son! So am I though, don't get me wrong! :) We have been keeping his name a secret and we have known what it is for a long time. He took quite awhile for our families to found out since Madi knew. But it lasted a lot longer than we expected. So we have started to slowly tell everyone what it is.. I think I'll keep it a secret on here for a little longer though.. just for fun!

I know that I really suck at blogging. I promise that I'm going to start trying to blog more. Especially for memories. Like a journal, through marriage and life and such. It's just hard cause I don't have internet at home and so when I'm at work I don't have any pictures to post so I'm like well I want to put pictures on this post too so I just read everyone elses and don't post anything on mine.
I should have a picture of this on my phone but I don't. Maybe i'll take one and post it later.. On March 6, 2012 Cameron and I went to the doctor and we found out what our baby is... Wait for it... We will be having a little boy! Which we are both very very excited about. It works out really well for our little family since we already have Madison. I love that little girl like my own. I'm so happy that her mom supports me being a step mom to her when she is at our house. It's a blessing. So, having a boy will be very exciting. I've always wanted to have a boy first anyways.. Cam is so cute about it too. He always says little things about how he will finally have someone to give all of his hot wheels too. Or build legos with. It's cute. I'm very excited about our future! It's been a crazy get go but I truly believe everything happens for a reason and this little boy was meant to come to earth now. I'll get a picture of the ultra sound and post it. But for now, here is one of me at almost 20 weeks.




The baby is growing great and he is right where he needs to be. I have felt little tiny movements in my belly. Just little flutters.. I'm excited for when he is bigger.. although I'm not looking forward to him kicking my bladder and such. I'm very excited to be able for when Cam can feel him too! Yay! We are so excited and happy!
We also found a place to live. It's a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and for now it will work out great. We have plenty of room in our bedroom that a crib can fit into and Madi can still have her own room. We only signed a 6 month contract. So we'll see where we are money wise and if we can get into a bigger apartment by then or not. Madi may have to share with the little guy for awhile but she is very excited about it and sharing is something she loves to do! <3

Happy News!

So apparently Ive been told by quite a few people that I need to start blogging more.. I just feel like I don't really have anything in my life to blog about.. Until recently that is..

Cameron and I are engaged and I couldn't be more happy. Seriously. I love him soo much and I'm so excited to start a life together! Maybe being married will give me more of an excuse to blog some more, since as you all know I'm so great at it now! ha.. Anyways I don't have any of the pictures with me today but I will put them on here soon and tell you all the cute little story of our engagement! :)

Update.. Here is the story of our engagement.. 

We already had our wedding date set.. February 18, 2012 and I we had went to look at rings. I picked out my 3 favorites and late he went back to the store to pick out his favorite of the 3. He was very sneaky about this. Because we lived at his moms house together and we worked together at the hotel. So I have no idea when he even went back to the store to pick it out.

Well we were supposed to be getting our engagement pictures done on Jan 11 and I still had no ring. Cam said that it had to get resized so he had no idea when it would he could get it, they were supposed to call him. I was kinda sad about it, but kinda thought "oh well" I'll just fake it like I have the ring and put a fake ring on my finger for pictures. I wasn't planning on getting any closeups. 

The day of engagement pictures I had to work at the front desk from 7-3 and Cam had the day off. My plan was to run home shower and get ready for pictures. I had been bugging Cam about getting his black button up shirt from Avron for the past week for pictures and he still hadn't gotten it. I was annoyed. So when I got home from work and started getting ready he said I gotta go meet Avron to get that shirt so we have to drive separately. He said he had to go clear out to Ivins to get it from him. I was like okay whatever. That's lame. So he left and I finished getting ready. 

When I was ready I jumped in the car and drove to ancestors square where we were meeting up with Chelsie, Kacey and Davi. I called Cam like 3 times on the drive there and he didn't answer once. I started getting worried. So I called Davi and she said that she had just talked to him a bit ago and he would be there soon. I just figured he didn't hear his phone while driving in his truck.  When I got there Kacey was like lets go up there and I can get the lighting on the Camera.  She said there was a really cute old door on the building we were walking towards but it was on the other side. So we walked up around and Cam was standing there with a bouquet of roses and a sign that said "Beautiful bride wanted February 18, 2012" I got so excited that I ran up to kiss him and give him a hug and he was like I'm not done yet. Then he got down on one knee and purposed. I honestly don't remember what he said exactly but it was something along the lines of making this official. It was soo cute and I totally didn't expect it. He of course, chose my favorite of the rings which turned out to be his favorite too! I LOVE it. It's beautiful.

Hello Blog World!

I need to start blogging again!! My life is soo different from a few months ago.! I no longer live with Casey. She decided that one bathroom was just not going to cut it for 3 girls so she found somewhere else to live and Kayla and I got a new roommate! and its Marsha! My best friends little sister! I'm very stoked about this! Kaylyn gets home from her mission in October! I'm so ready for her to come home because I miss her so much! I feel like my friends change so often lately. It's weird. Right now my best friend is most definitely Cameron J! My boyfriend. We have so much fun together. I absolutely love this guy, and his daughter!

Well our new apartment is soon going to be soo cute! I've been looking around and have so many fun ideas to make it cute and homey! right now we don't have any couches! ha But soon we will, they are at Kayla's house in Alamo. We just need to find a way to get them here! We bought an entertainment center at the DI the other day for 15 bucks! It was such a steal! Cam is going to help us put some shelves and stuff in it because they were gone. I'm very excited!

As for school, I'm not going this semester. I'm still very indecisive, as usual and don't know what I'm doing with my life. I'm kinda thinking towards Radiology now.
