3 months

This little guy is 3 months old today! My how much he has grown in the past 3 months. He has thee cutest personality everr. He is always so happy and smiling. He coos soo much now. Tells stories all the time. He still hasn't rolled over again. Only the one time. He gets so mad when we have tummy time now. ha He loves it and then gets really frustrated cause he can't roll over. It's cute.

November 1

Day 1: Today I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a mother. I have theee most love in the world for this little guy.

I can't get enough of those eyes! oh my.. I love him. 

I cannot believe how big he has gotten just in the past 3 months! 

And the opportunity to be a step mom to Madison! Beautiful girl she is!

We are lucky to have such cute kids!

hAlLoWeEn!!

Halloween was pretty fun this year. Cam was thing 1, Ryker was thing 2 and I was the cat in the hat. (We didn't know what we were going to be until Halloween day. Talk about last minute! Good thing Tasha's family was this a few years ago and she let me borrow the blue for Ryker's hat and I made the shirts while Cam was at work. I didn't have a hat so I made myself a little red and white hair thing real quick and painted my face. For last minute we all turned out looking pretty good I do say so myself. Ryker was by FAR theee cutest!

Madi got to be with her mom this year. She dressed up as a witch! :) She made a cute little witch! We didn't get to see her dressed up but here is a pic of her! :) 

Since she was with Nikki, we got her the night before and we carved pumpkins!

On Halloween night, we went trick or treating with the Buoys! It was lots of fun! We tried to find this house that Cameron said the guy was making corn dogs.. We found the street and it was like a block party! The kids loved it. There was this guy with a golf cart pulling barrels and taking kids for rides. It was cute. The corn dog guy was making popcorn and donuts. We don't know if he made corn dogs or not. He could have been out by the time we got there.  There were tons of people there.

Deer Hunt

This past weekend was the opening of the deer hunt! I love the deer hunt so much. Only with my family though. We focus more on the family time, story telling, camping and having fun time then we do the actual hunting part. It's fun. 

Before we went up to Fillmore for the hunt this year we went and stayed up at a cabin in duck creek on cedar mountain where Cameron has been working for the past little while.

 Right after this picture Ryker spit up in Madi's mouth. She just started laughing her head off.. It was hilarious.

Madi was sooo excited to go hunting.. She had that hat on so low she had to look up just to look straight.. Hilarious.

Grandma got to spend some much needed time with Ryker man while I was off searching for deer.

It was a fun trip. Exhausting. But very fun. I shot at a 2 point and missed. Ha. To tell you the honest truth I don't even know if I was shooting at a buck. I couldn't tell which one had horns through the scope on my gun. I guessed which one it was from my Dad and Colton explaining to me where he was at. I was nervous I was shooting at a doe. I think that's why I choked. Oops! Cam says that he is making me go back up this weekend. (He really just wants some jerky) It is supposed to get cold this week so hopefully that will help bring some deer down off the mountain. We barley saw anything when we actually were hunting. ha

2 months old!

This little guy is starting to get so big! I can't believe that he is 2 months old already. 

Some things that have been happening as of late are: 

He sleeps a little more through the night. Usually falls asleep around 11-12 and wakes up around 6:30. 

(Which is really nice for this momma)

He now thinks his hand is super fun to suck on.. 

Lose your bink, just stick your whole hand in your mouth. why not, right? 

This is him mid-suck.. ha 

It's actually pretty cute and makes me laugh every time that I see him do it.

He had his 2 month appoinment yesterday and..
His measurements were

24.41 in and weighs 12 lbs and 13 ounces! Wowzars!
He also had to get his shots. 3 in his legs. Insert sad face here... :( I have never heard him cry so hard. I felt soo bad. At least i got to hold him while they did it. Poor baby. 

He sure loves to eat, and eats for 40 min to an hour every time I feed him.

 He is still nursing really well and my goal is to nurse him for a whole year. :) 2 months down, 10 to go. 

He still hasn't rolled over again. Once was plenty, right? He showed us he could do it and is all good with just chilling on his back or tummy now. Ha

He is still just as cute as ever and his eyes are starting to get lighter.. more blue. He definitely 

has his daddy's eyes. Which is okay with me! Big blue eyes! :) I love them!

Rollie Pollie

So it's been a min since I've blogged.. oops! 

But I thought this was something very important that needed to be written down somewhere..

My little Ryker man ROLLED over for the very first time last night!! 

He isn't even 2 months old yet and he decided that he could roll over, just once, from his belly to his back! WOW! He is getting soo big! His 2 month app is next week and I'm very excited to go to see what his measurements are! He is getting so strong and holds his little head up like a champ! :) ALL THE TIME! He is also starting to smile a lot more, and at people, not just cause he has to poop! It's so cute!

3 days ago my baby turned 1 month old! I seriously cannot believe how big he is getting.  I think that he changes and looks different everyday! I just love him so much.  He slept in the crib in the other room the past two nights! The first night was kinda rough for me and I didn't sleep much. Neither did he.. I was worry about him like the whole night and after I fed him he had the hardest time trying to fall back asleep.. He cried and fussed for like an hour.  So I went and got him and put him in his basket by my bed and he fell right to sleep. But last night after I fed him, I wrapped him up and put him back in the crib and he slept till 8 this morning.  I'm so proud! He has been sleeping for about 4-5 hours through the night with one feeding in between.  I'm hoping soon he will start to sleep more through the whole night.. I can't believe I haven't slept through one whole night for the past month.  No wonders I never have any energy.  I feel so bad for Cam when he comes home and the house isn't clean.  I feel like I have no excuse for the mess but I do, it just doesn't sound like a good one. ;)

Well now onto today.. Today is Shilo's birthday and she would have been 23 today.  Here is where you can read about Shilo and Micah, my two best friends I'll never forget. It's crazy to think that she left this earth at only 19 and Micah at 21.  I have experienced so much in the past 4 years since they have gone.  So many things I wish they could have been here to go through with me. I miss them everyday.  They were my best friends and soul sisters!  I think about them often and am soo happy that I have the memories that I do.  Us three were inseparable and I wouldn't change that for anything.  I was going to delete my myspace a LONG time ago.  But there are still so many messages and things that I don't want to forget so I still haven't. ha I got on there today and found some old pictures from those days.. Here are a few...

They are seriously the most beautiful girls ever.  I just know they met and gave Ryker many many kisses before he was born.  This makes me happy.  Happy Birthday Shilo Anne! I love you so so very much and I am so grateful for you.  Keep watching over us all!  Love you!

Just Because..

So Cam left again today.. :( I love that he has a job that he loves. But I hate the fact that sometimes he leaves for a whole week at a time.

 I hate not seeing him everyday.

 Not only do I get bored but I miss him soooo much. He is my BESTEST Friend Ever. I get so lonely without him here.  I feel real bad for him this time too because he doesn't get to see our little Ryker man for 4 days. 

Poor daddy. 

 I text him so many times before he ever texts me back because he is busy, ha. 

When we talk on the phone, its for at least a half an hour or so before we fall asleep at night.

 I just love this guy so dang much.

Don't know what I would do without him.

On a Happy note.. When we had Madi this weekend we made letter pancakes.
It was fun and she loved it!

I need a new camera. Mine sucks. It's old.
